Time And Space
Dwapara Yuga=432600*2= 865200 years
Tretha Yuga=432600*3= 1297800 years
Kruta Yuga=432600*4= 1730400 years
Together it's 43,26,000 years = 1 Maha yuga
72 maha yugas = 1 Manvantara= 31,14,72,000
14 manvantara = 12 hrs for Brahmadevaru
28 manvantara = 1 Day = 872,12,16,000
100 Years for Brahma= his Ayushya= 87212,16,00,000 years
That's eight seven thousand two hundred crore years!!!!
That's the time it takes Lord Vishnu to bat an eyelid!!!!
This is to say that the Lord is beyond time. He is not bound by it unlike us. He is time. He controls time.
So too with space. He is not bound by it. The universe is ever expanding, scientists tell us. He is bigger than all of that. His 'vyaapti' is like Akasha. Just like space is everywhere without being tangible so too the Lord pervades everywhere in and out of everything, living and non living.

Freeya vidu, jollya iru
I am not a friendly person as most people who know me can tell. I find interacting with human beings almost a challenge. I don't enjoy meeting new people and making friends. I am not comfortable with most people. And with the few people, it takes a lot of time to be relaxed in their presence.
I don't talk unless I have to. The idea of small talk is as strange to me as rocket science. Sometimes I don't even acknowledge a person when I meet them the second time. I wonder why I don't do that. It's so rude of me but I don't mean to be rude. Either I don't remember their names or don't know what to say. Or sometimes when I say something, I find that that person doesn't remember me. Now, that's awkward. It's exactly these situations that I dread.
My friend tells me, 'Freeya vidu, jollya iru'. Live freely, Love fully, says an email forward. Hmm.. I will learn to do that.
Sharanagathi
On another occasion I remember he said, 'Draupadi called out to Lord Krishna when she was being disrobed in the court of the Kauravas. He didn't come to her rescue instantly. He took sometime, why? Initially she tried to save herself. Only later did she lift up both her hands and called out to Him. When she lifted both her hands and in full faith remembered the Lord, He immediately came to her rescue'. That's the kind of faith we need to have. Full and complete.
Inside the main temple of Tirupati among the crowd I try to stand on my toes to catch a glimpse of the Lord. I find it annoying that some people who are in front of me are blocking my view by not only being taller than me but also raising both their hands and shouting, 'Anaatha rakshaka', 'Venkatesha', 'Govinda' etc....
I found it annoying until I realised that's the way we should approach Him. In complete surrender as if to say nothing is in my hands, I leave it to you. I am nobody without you.

Powerhouses Of Knowledge
1) Vyasanakere Prabhanjaacharya
2) Brahmanachar
3) Vishnudas Nagendrachar
4) Chaturvedi Vedavyasachar
5) Anandatirthachar Nagasampige
6) Vijayeendrachar
All of them in the list are men of exceptional knowledge and have excellent oratory skills. Listening to their lectures on Acharya's works is one of the most fulfilling things I have done in my life. I urge everyone who is interested in the spiritual/religious topics to listen to their lectures.
www.vyasamadhwa.org has an very good collection of archived upanyasa by Prabhanjacharya.
I am disappointed that www.uttaradimath.org which had the section 'SatyatmaVani' with lectures of Poojya Swamiji has removed the audio links. I hope they bring it back soon.
I am convinced that one who hasn't heard and enjoyed Acharya's lectures has not made the best use of his or her stay on earth.

'Daasa Daasara...
'Daasa Daasara Maneya Dasanu Daasa Naanu....', wrote Kanaka Daasaru about 400 years ago. It's one of my favorite songs. The song describes the humility of a great soul like Kanaka Daasaru.
It also gives the message of the importance of humility for a person who seeks God.
Vijayadaasaru advised his son, 'Haridaasa daasara paada dhoolagi iru'. (Bow at the feet of Hari Daasas).
Purandaradaasaru has said 'Guruvina gulama anaguva tanaka, doreyadanna Mukuti'. (Become a slave to your Guru, if you aspire salvation).

Vaishnav jan to tene kahiye
It was written by a Gujarati poet-saint Narsinh Mehta
1. Vaishnav jan to tene kahiye, je peeD paraaee jaNe re ... [He is the true Vaishnava who knows and feels another's woes as his own]
Par dukkhe upkar kare toye, man abhiman na aaNe re ... [Ever ready to serve, he never lets vanity get to his head]
2. SakaL lok maan sahune vande, nindaa ne kare keni re ... [Bowing to everyone humbly and criticising none]

4. Moh-maayaa vyaape nahin jhene, draDh vairagi jhena manmaa re ... [The bonds of earthly attachment hold him not. His mind is deeply rooted in renunciation]
Raam-naam shu taaLire laagi, sakaL teerath tena tanmaa re ... [Every moment he is intent on reciting the name of the Lord Rama. All the holy places are ever present in his body]

Pundareeka Varada Panduranga Vitthala
The primary lesson from this is devoted service to parents is a man's biggest duty.
Another meaning of 'ittige' in sanskrit means 'day'. That is give each day to the Lord. Let him be with us throughout. Each brick builds the 'yagna kunda'. Similarly every day builds the yagna called 'life'. The havis we offer in that fire is our bhakti. This is the significance of 'brick'.

Bheda-Abheda
- Jeeva(atma)-Isha(paramatma)
- Jeeva-Jeeva
- Jeeva-Jada(matter)
- Jada-Jada
- Jada-Isha
Isha is only one. ie. there is only One supreme God (Vishnu) so there is no question of differences there. It's important to realise that there is actually abheda or oneness among his many infinite forms.
There is no oneness among the atma and paramatma. The jeeva is identical i.e. it is also sat-chit-ananda atma like the paramatma but the big difference is that while the gnana and ananda of the atma is dependant on the paramatma, He is not dependant on anyone. Everyone is under his control but there is none who can control Him. He is full of gnana- ananda at all times at all places in all forms
